At this glamorous event, inspired by the masterpiece of science fiction, the film “Dune,” 150 selected guests from the world of business, art, fashion, and culture were present.


In line with the creative concept and the theme of the mystical desert, guests were invited to express their vision of desert glamour through their attire, adding a new dimension of inspiration to this already refined concept amidst the ambiance of sand dunes.

One of the most unique events of the season turned into a stage for an epic sci-fi adventure, with the sandy setting enhanced by precisely positioned reflective monoliths throughout the space, alongside decorated passages adorned with canopies invoking mystique and elegance.

Special lighting and custom-made projections on screens created parallel worlds before the eyes of visitors. An exclusive dinner and captivating performances by artists, musicians, and dance troupes entertained attendees with exceptional artistic flair.

The M2C team not only created an outstanding concept and produced this “desert spectacle” but also realized a series of impressive promotional videos that heightened anticipation and excitement surrounding the BURO. DESERT ROSE event.

Intensive preparations for the Buro. Desert Rose event at Tašmajdan Stadium had their exciting ‘filmic’ prelude, adding a touch of mystery and adventure to the entire project.

The idea for the teaser video was inspired by the movie ‘Dune’, with desert aesthetics, colors mimicking heat and sand, and ethereal feelings and scenes characteristic of this cult science fiction novel and film.

The inspiration for the teaser video comes from the famous SF franchise ‘Dune’: desert aesthetics, warm sandy colors, and ethereal scenes evoke the atmosphere of this iconic science fiction work.

In the spectacular sandy environment, we filmed a series of impressive promotional teaser spots. Finding the right cast for this shoot was challenging because we wanted to select protagonists whose appearance and acting abilities perfectly matched the film aesthetics that formed the basis of the creative concept.

The teaser campaign for Buro.Desert Rose was launched three days before the event.

It consisted of two short teaser videos that didn’t reveal the essence of the event but highlighted key words, atmosphere, and inspiration for the event. The final, longest reveal video unveiled event details on the day of its occurrence.

The goal of this mini-campaign was to generate additional hype around the “Desert Rose” event and intrigue the public.

The campaign was conducted through Instagram as the primary communication channel, and segments of the video content were also used at the event itself and displayed on LED screens. Altogether, the video content achieved over 30,000 views on Instagram.

The actors shone in specially tailored costumes from Demobaza, the brand originally responsible for the costumes in ‘Dune’. Their presence not only contributed to the event’s atmosphere but also emphasized the mystical beauty and splendor of this unique setting.

These video recordings set the tone for what followed at Tašmajdan Stadium in Belgrade, where guests of the Buro. Desert Rose event embarked on a journey through a desert oasis of creativity and elegance. The color palette in the film aligned with that of ‘Dune’, while the shots were framed to support the event’s concept and provide an overall experience of mystique and gentle unreality. This was achieved using modified sun filters with transparent polymer, and the spot was filmed at a high frame rate ranging from 50 to 200 fps to achieve a specific ‘otherworldly’ effect.

This cinematic prelude added depth and emotional connection to the event theme, creating anticipation and excitement among guests who embarked on a journey through the imaginary world of desert elegance.

VISUAL IDENTITY SYMBOLIZING ENERGY AND MOVEMENT

Exciting news is coming from the sports association “Aktivniji” – they have just unveiled their new logo that reflects energy, movement, and dedication to a healthy lifestyle!

This logo is not just a symbol, but a story. It was born as a combination of two key symbols: the initials “A” representing the brand “Aktivniji” and athletic running tracks. This combination of symbols not only emphasizes the goals of the association – which are organizing, planning, and programming recreational sports training – but also highlights the importance of an active and healthy lifestyle for individuals and communities.

PADEL BELGRADE OPEN BRAND DESIGN

We are thrilled to present the new, dynamic logo for the Padel Belgrade Open! The logo is designed to capture the energy and passion of the growing and increasingly popular padel sport, a racket sport that combines elements of tennis and squash.

The creative concept behind the logo is based on several premises: By associating it with the Olympic ring, the logo embraces the spirit of free will, symbolizing the sporting unity that padel promotes. Equally important is the symbolism of the racket swing, as the logo’s abstract shapes are fluid and dynamic, reminiscent of the graceful swing of a padel racket.

Upon closer inspection, the abstract shapes of the logo come together to form recognizable forms of a racket and a ball. The new logo of the Padel Belgrade Open also incorporates the colours of the Belgrade coat of arms, creating a strong connection between the tournament and the host city.

This logo is not static, but rather represents the movement and energy of the padel sport. It also symbolizes the spirit of Belgrade – a city that is vibrant, open, and ready for victory!

We believe this logo perfectly represents the Padel Belgrade Open tournament and Belgrade as a metropolis of sport and culture. We believe the new logo will inspire many to be part of the exciting padel tournament adventure!

A1 KINOTEKA “TAIWAN CANASTA”

Another production from the list of Serbian classics, the film “Taiwan Canasta”, was digitally restored as part of the A1 Kinoteka project.
The official screening of the film was held on November 15th in the premises of the Jugoslovenska kinoteka with the presence of part of the film crew, and due to great interest, in addition to the main “Makavejev” cinema hall, guests could watch the screening from two additional halls.

Before the screening, the EKV Tribute band performed, which is a kind of homage to the former famous Yugoslav group Ekaterina velika, which contributed to the composition and performance of the original music for the film.

“Taiwan canasta” was signed by our renowned director Goran Marković, and this film is his fourth film that has been digitally restored under the auspices of the A1 Kinoteka project.

This drama with elements of humor, filmed in 1985, describes a lost individual lost in the world in which he lives, engrossed in the creation of moving sculptures. The Taiwan canasta satirically and bitterly described the structure and character of the entire society at that time.

The premiere of the digitally restored film was held at the Jugoslovenska kinoteka in Belgrade, and more than 250 guests were able to witness live the original mrdalice, authored by Milija Nešić. Each of these interesting wooden installations describes certain phenomena and values ​​of modern consumer society.

Our creative team was entrusted with the creation of the conceptual concept as well as the complete realization and production of this event.

We are proud to have supported the visibility of the A1 Kinoteka project and the effort to restore film productions that have been declared a cultural asset of great importance.

A1 KINOTEKA – “SEASON OF PEACE IN PARIS”

Under the auspices of the A1 Kinoteka project, Predrag Golubović’s 1981 film “Season of peace in Paris” gained new shine thanks to digital restoration.

This ceremonial screening of the film officially marked the continuation of the cooperation between A1 and the Yugoslav Cinematheque, where, in addition to the previous 20 restored films, there will be 10 more achievements that deserve the attention of European cinematography for years.

The main roles in the film are played by Dragan Nikolić, Miki Manojlović, Marija Šnajder and many other renowned European actors. The plot of the film takes place in Paris, in a not so peaceful period where a young couple in love meets the longing and hope that wartime brings.

The premiere was held in front of Silos, next to the Danube. In addition to numerous celebrities from the world of culture and film, the ceremonial screening of the film, which continues life in full image and tone, was attended by Srdan Golubović, director and son of Predrag Golubović, who highlighted the importance of digital restoration of domestic films.

The guests had the opportunity to take pictures in a credible French bistro with two actors who were in charge of the good mood of the guests. The evening ended with numerous famous songs by the band “Kanda Kodza and Nebojsa”.

Our team was entrusted with the design of the creative concept, realization and production of the A1 Kinoteka project, which was attended by over 250 guests.

It is a pleasure that we have been entrusted with the realization of the A1 Kinoteka project for the second time. We believe that A1 is pushing the boundaries in the organization of corporate events and we are glad that we were part of the A1 Kinoteka project together.

UNDERWATER ART

Porto Montenegro, in collaboration with our agency, created an unusual underwater exhibition that took place from August 1st to 16th, 2019. With the engagement of internationally recognized Montenegrin artist Luka Radojević, visitors were given the opportunity to dive into the secrets of ancient times.

The collection of contemporary art sculptures titled “Time” portrays human needs, aspirations, fears, expectations, hopes – pointing out the developmental path of human civilization from ancient times to the present day.
In its underwater installation, Luka paid special attention to the most powerful monumental creations of human hands whose origins are eternal civilization secrets, and in the spirit of ancient Greece and Rome, he presented humanoid sculptures of male and female torsos that best idealize the proportions of the human body.

The excitement began the moment visitors left the shore by speedboat, accompanied by a guide who introduced the motifs and ideas preceding this experimental concept. Professional divers led the adventurous visitors through the depths of Tivat Bay, enabling them to open their senses to centuries of change in human civilization and architectural evolution.

For us, implementing and monitoring the project was as much of a challenge as enjoying this original art, which offers a completely new perspective on the concept of artistic space.

All exhibits, made of wood, were placed in cascades at depths ranging from 5 to 12 meters. To protect them, the exhibits were coated with an eco-emulsion made from natural materials, which also preserves the habitat in which they are located.

Underwater video production enabled these scenes to be captured, portraying the beauty that arises from the fusion of nature and art.

The project has been extensively awarded, winning the Special Award for Creativity and the third prize in the B2C Event category at the international festival Conventa Crossover 2020, as well as a bronze recognition from UEPS 2019 in the category of promotion at non-standard locations.

In such moments, it’s best to pause, synchronize with the frequency of the soul, and be in harmony with time, because time has the power to objectively place people and events in their rightful place.
