For the “Savant” restaurant in the newly opened St. Regis Hotel in Belgrade, we developed a unique brand design and visual identity that reflect the refinement and luxury of this prestigious venue. 

“Savant” offers a gastronomic experience that blends exceptional service with carefully selected dishes, in line with the St. Regis hotel’s renowned reputation. These values served as key guidelines in the creation of the logo and brand name. 

 

 

The logo combines two elements: a square inspired by the original St. Regis logo, symbolizing a star shining over Belgrade, and the symbol of a river and knot. The river represents the restaurant’s location on the Sava River, while the knot represents the “savant” – a person of wisdom and refined taste, as well as a place for gathering and connection in a unique setting. 

 

 

We also designed the name of the restaurant – “Savant,” derived from the French word for a connoisseur, emphasizing the sophisticated taste and wisdom of the restaurant’s guests. The connection to the name “Sava” creates a subtle yet strong link to Belgrade, a city situated on the banks of the Sava and Danube rivers.
