A1 KINOTEKA PRESENTS “THE MEETING POINT”

A1 SERBIA

The A1 Kinoteka project, in collaboration with The Yugoslav Film Archive, showcased the digitally restored cinematic classic by Goran Marković – “The Meeting Point” from 1989. The audience enjoyed the film in a unique way, in an ambiance specially created to “bring to life” its cinematic scenes and landscapes.

The M2C team was responsible for the creative concept and production of the spectacular set design and the entire event, held at the Silos Culture House in Belgrade. The audience had the opportunity to experience a completely new cinematic adventure. The entire space was transformed into an archaeological site with ancient elements such as a stone crypt and columns, surrounded by “desert dunes”.

Visitors embarked on a “customer journey” conceived as an adventure with elements of fantasy, in line with the film’s basic idea that there exists – and has been discovered – a passage between this world and the “otherworldly” realm. Inside Silos, an attractive installation with performers was set up, conveying the mystical atmosphere of the other world through movement and light.

The public was addressed by the director of the cult film Goran Marković, one of the main protagonists Bogdan Diklić, as well as representatives of A1 and the Yugoslav Film Archive. After the screening of the film “The Meeting Point”, the attendees enjoyed musical performances and a cocktail party.
