The opening of the world-renowned restaurant chain in Belgrade is a true challenge for the entire team within the company, as well as for its partners. First of all, because this is the first franchise of the Crazy Pizza brand, which makes the marketing headquarters and all other sectors of the company especially cautious and dedicated to every part of the process. The brand’s integrity, service quality, and communication with future guests from day one had to be and remain at a globally recognizable level.

We were entrusted with the responsibility for the complete marketing and communication of this brand in the media and digital platforms, as well as for two grand opening events.
Adjusting the tone of communication to the Serbian market, creating content for advertising purposes, and developing the media plan might seem like three simple items on the calendar of a marketing agency, but for us, they came with additional requirements and daily checks.
The challenge was to present and defend ideas first with our client and then bring them closer to the international and central marketing teams of Crazy Pizza.
The digital campaign, executed on a limited budget and lasting less than two months, achieved a reach of 478,444 on the Meta platform alone. It generated significant engagement, including Instagram profile visits and over 11,000 ad clicks. Within less than 50 days of activity on Instagram, our client gained approximately 4,500 followers. Additionally, the influencers we collaborated with significantly enhanced the brand’s visibility. Together we contributed to securing table reservations weeks in advance.
The OOH campaign lasted for a month, including video and photo billboards. Articles about the restaurant were published in Vogue Adria, Elevate magazine, and interviews were given for Blic TV and Pink TV. More than twenty media outlets reported on the opening of Crazy Pizza in Belgrade.
Besides the 360 campaign, our task was to design the concept and execute two opening “parties.” One for the media and close collaborators, and the other for the public.
The opening event was a special story. We found inspiration in the golden age of Italian cinema. In line with the luxurious interior and the prestigious tone that this brand carries, we drew inspiration from Sofia Loren, Gina Lollobrigida, and Marcello Mastroianni, and the entire atmosphere of the event exuded Italian glamour.
To make you feel like a movie star for just a moment, paparazzi at the entrance to the restaurant and the newspapers in which you appeared that evening made the moment unforgettable! A string quartet added a touch of glamour and classic beauty to the event.
And the professional dancers we hired “broke the ice” among the guests and were the first to get up from their seats, as the great Sonja Pavlica was at the DJ booth.
Of course, the entire event will be remembered for the authentic performance of Italian pizza masters who came to Belgrade for this occasion. Pizza Spinning in the air and among the tables, accompanied by well-known global music hits, was just the beginning of something exciting in Belgrade.
