The “Savant” restaurant offers a gastronomic experience that exceeds expectations, combining exceptional service with carefully selected dishes, fully aligned with the reputation of the renowned hotel that embodies authenticity, luxury, and thoughtfully crafted aesthetics. These were also our key guidelines in designing the logo and brand name.
The name “Savant” is inspired by the meaning of the French word for a connoisseur, a person of sophisticated taste and wisdom. In doing so, we pay tribute to our restaurant guests as true connoisseurs of exquisite gastronomic delights and lovers of exceptional service.
By using the name Sava as a key part of the restaurant’s name, we have connected it with the character of Belgrade, creating a subtle yet strong link to the city that lies on the banks of the Sava and Danube rivers.
Our logo for “Savant” combines two key symbols. The first is a square, inspired by the original logo of the prestigious St. Regis brand, symbolizing the star shining over Belgrade, evoking grandeur, luxury, and the unique character of the brand.
The second element of the logo is a fusion of the river and a symbolic node or intersection—the river represents our location on the banks of the Sava, while the node signifies the savant, a person of wisdom, knowledge, and refined taste, as well as a gathering place for people in a unique environment.
