TPM: Aligning the technical details ahead of EXPO 2027
EXPO 2027
M2Communications contributed to the organisation and delivery of the Technical Preparation Meeting (TPM) for EXPO 2027 Belgrade, held from 1 to 3 October 2026. This major international gathering brought together more than 250 delegates from 43 countries, including commissioners, architects, engineers, designers, and other professionals involved in preparations for the national pavilions. The TPM marked an important step in the transition from planning to the operational implementation of Serbia’s largest upcoming international event.

Following the successful delivery of the International Participants Meeting (IPM), our team continued its involvement in EXPO 2027, this time organising an event that presented a different set of production and logistical challenges. The focus was on meticulous planning, operational coordination, and the seamless integration of numerous technical, organisational and protocol requirements to ensure that the three-day programme ran smoothly as a cohesive whole.
One of the project’s defining aspects was the delivery of programme activities at the future EXPO complex in Surčin, where the international gathering took place alongside intensive construction work. Organising an event in such a dynamic environment requires a high degree of flexibility, carefully managed logistics and continuous coordination among all teams involved, while ensuring compliance with specific technical and safety requirements.
Over the three days, the programme featured expert presentations, working sessions and direct consultations covering the construction and fit-out of national pavilions, technical standards, logistical procedures and preparations for the upcoming exhibition. Site visits were another important part of the programme, giving delegates a firsthand look at the EXPO complex, the future EXPO Village and programme venues, as well as valuable insights into the infrastructure, the organisation of National Days and the experience EXPO 2027 will offer participants and visitors alike.
For M2Communications, the TPM represented another significant project in the preparations for EXPO 2027, as well as an opportunity to demonstrate the value of experience, reliable coordination and carefully structured operational processes in delivering a highly complex international event.
From major international gatherings to technically demanding on-site productions, our goal remains the same: to turn complex ideas and organisational challenges into seamlessly executed events.
