For the eighth time in a row, the Serbian Association of Managers conferred the ”SAM Annual Awards” upon successful managers, business people and companies committed to improving professionalism, ethics, leadership and overall quality of life.

At this year’s SAM Gala 2019, the awards were presented in the following categories: Manager of the Year, Young Manager of the Year, Employer of the Year, Socially Responsible Company of the Year, Youth Leadership Promotion Award – SAMPLE, Heroic Award, as well as three Competitive Awards in the field of economy.

This year’s SAM GALA, for the first time since its establishment, was themed ”Manager 0.4”. This symbolic title refers to the modern way of doing business in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, which carries new humane values promoted by the development of technology.

As in the previous years, M2Communications was responsible for the realization of this spectacle, which made its creative concept of this traditional December event meaningful and visually rich. The set-up included moving LED screens that created a three-dimensional effect on stage, enhanced by laser and light beams.

This year, SAM and M2C introduced several innovations to make the overall atmosphere more delightful. In addition to the initial animation, which, through a mixture of words and symbols, represented the future manager, short animated films were shown, representing the genesis of success of the five nominated managers, with the idea of showcasing the examples of successful practice and business in an interesting way.

The three-hour program, presented to four hundred guests, was hosted by actors Srdjan Timarov and Jelena Gavrilovic, who also had a singing performance. During the evening, the electro-string band “Alektik” had a performance as well.

The 2019 Manager of the Year Award was won by Mihailo Jankovic, Managing Director of Nektar company.

The three-hour event was attended by about 400 invitees, mostly eminent people in the fields of business and management.
