Before us was the challenge of creating a concept and organizing an event that is becoming more and more successful year after year. The starting point was the company strategy Winning 24/7, and the concept we proposed was based on the idea of reviving the spirit of large American cities that live 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The guests began their journey to Coca-Cola City by passing through a tunnel in which a subway ride was simulated with LED screens and audio-visual effects.
The first stop was a classic American diner from the 50’s decorated with a 4m high replica of the famous Coca-Cola bottle.
The different city zones of this unique metropolis are inspired by the stories of the brands of the Coca-Cola HBC portfolio and the urban culture of American cities: Sprite Basket Court, Fanta Bubble Station, the zone where the best photos were taken, NEXT Park with the city’s fruit market, and the evening city refreshments could be found at the Mr Schweppes Alchemy bar.
The official program began “on the central city square” with a performance in which the hoop artist skillfully moved within laser beams. The entire visual spectacle is completed with backwall animations on LED screens with an area of 140m2.
After the official part where the results of the previous year and the strategy for the current year were presented, a central celebration followed. A special challenge was the rapid change of scenography. From a conference setup for 700 employees to a party setup attended by over 1200 guests. The whole Coca-Cola city was on its feet until late into the night, enjoying a rich program whose main star was Gibboni.
The event won an award in the Best Event category at the Kaktus 2019 festival and two awards at the Conventa Crossover festival in Ljubljana 2019.
